He is survived by: his mother Mary Demmons Wellington of Thomaston; his stepfather Keith Burns; his son Rusty Wellington (Clerissa) of Warren; his stepdaughter Shannon Crute of Thomaston; his sister Jeanette Palmer (Bob) of Rockland; his half-sister Dee; his grandchild Laine Wellington; his nieces and nephews, PJ, Kelli and Mary; his aunt Sylvia Fowles of South Thomaston; his brother-in-law Bob Gryspeerd of Bath; his cousin Debbie Barter; and his friend Donnie Blackman of Owls Head.
