Pauline Mae Long Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Mae Long (Rockland, Maine), born in South Thomaston, Maine, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Marion Smith Godding; and her siblings, Lee Smith, Alfred Smith and Millicent Haines.
She is survived by: her husband Cedric Long, Sr. of Camden; her children, Gary Long (Debra) of North Carolina, Diane Miller of Camden, Cedric Long, Jr. of Bangor, Darrell Long (Jan Fish) of Rockport and Steven Long (Bernadette Barrows) of Camden; her brother Leonard Smith of Gardiner; her grandchildren, James Long, Joseph Long, Elizabeth Gleason, Brian Jones, Kim Berry (Kevin), Sarah Houle (Brandon), Matthew Slocomb (Michelle), Juile Klenk, Jessica Dalton, Tyler Long (Christi) and Samantha Armstrong (Joseph); and her sister-in-law Jill Perry of St. George. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home (110 Limerock St, Rockland, ME 04841).
