He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest, Sr. Gamage and Eunice Thompson Gamage; his wife Virginia; his grandson Ryan Gamage; and his sister Elaine Steeves.
He is survived by: his sons, Norman Gamage, Jr. (Arnez Woodbury) of Rockport, John Gamage (Tammy) of Owls Head and William Gamage (Andrea) of Waldoboro; his grandchildren, Nickole, Pennie, Christopher, Joseph and Shaydlyn; his great grandchildren, Lily, James, Ivy, Lucas, Gabriella, Brookelynn, Brayson, Brantley, Angel, Rayni, Brynleigh, Jett, Marcus and Addison; his siblings, Sharon Preston of Rockland, Ruth Ames (Brian) of Verona Island, Eunice Gamage-Alfano of Union, Gladys Hutchinson (Gene) of Vinalhaven and Ernest Gamage, Jr. of Union; and his close friends, David and Leavitt Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
