It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite A. Mills in Rockland, Maine, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester D. Mills; her parents, Ira Lewis MacDonald and Elsie Laverne Brown MacDonald; her sisters, Norma A. MacDonald Lloyd and Marjorie E. "Bambi" MacDonald Greenlaw; her brothers-in-law, Wilfred "Mouse" Lloyd and Alfred "Kippy" Greenlaw; and her fiancé Bill Littlefield.
She is survived by: her children, William D. Mills (Joy Wadleigh Mills) of Vinalhaven and Bonnie Jo Mills Hopkins of Vinalhaven; her grandchildren, Michelle E. Mills Stanley of Rockland, Stephanie Anne Mills (Brian Johnson), James Lester Hopkins, Greg Hopkins of Vinalhaven and Laura Hopkins Osgood (Philip) of Vinalhaven; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Brian, Kassandra, Jason, Max, Hannah Jo, Cole, Carolyn, Andrew, Frank, Joe, Myra Joy and Emilie Alice; and her great great grandchildren, Jonah, Greyson, Savannah, Madelyn, Elijah, William and Prudence. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends and extended family; her church family.
