He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Smith and Thelma Watt Smith; his significant other Juanita June Dressler; and his daughters, Crystal Hunter and Bonnie S. Dean.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry W. Smith, Jr. (Alice) and Daren Smith; his grandchildren, Jacob Hunter (Jessie), Martin Hunter, Courtney Lattanzi (Dan), Kristin Wright, Travis Dean (Jenna), Brandon Smith (Hannah), Amanda Smith and April Foster; his great grandchildren, Angie Hunter, Isla Lattanzi, Dean Wright and Jack Dean; his son-in-law Tom Dean; and his caregiver Linda.
