He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris E. Schramm of Germantown, PA and Esther Chapman Schramm of Rockland; his son Chris; his fathers-in-law, Dennis and Michael Alley; and his nephew Duane Alley.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Alley of Camden; his sons, John K Schramm (Lorena) and Christian M Schramm; his friends, Russell Sevon, Robert Barnes and John Stiglitz; his granddaughters, Samantha of Rockport, ME, Sophia Schramm of Rockport, ME, Cavalier and Willow; his pets, Gracie and Poultney; his siblings-in-law, Karen and Terence Gray; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Robyn and James Munroe; his sister-in-law Louise Boivin Hendrickson; his nieces, Christina Alley Koren and Jackie Squires Alley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leslie, Tristan and Michael Alley; his cousin David Hoch (Isabel); and his close friends, Stewart Rogers, Douglas Hilt, Sterling Robinson and Charles Chiarchiaro.
In lieu of flowers, donations to honor John may be made to the animal rescue league of your choice, Owls Head Transportation Museum, or the Make A Wish Foundation of Maine.
