It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thompson (Rockland, Maine), born in New Harbor, Maine, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Thompson and Eva D. Gamage Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Florence M. Withee; his children, Carol A. Thompson and James A. Thompson (Janine); his grandson Nathan of Owls Head; and his sister June Martin of Vinalhaven. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
