She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Swanson and Betsy Swanson (McGuffie); and her brothers, Carl E. McGuffie, Ernest 'Sonny Swanson and Roy Swanson.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Talbot (Ted) of Owls Head; her children, Darlene Melanson (Terry) of Cushing, David Cushman of Clark Island and Fred Cushman (Shari Elwell) of South Thomaston; her grandchildren, Angie Prior (Todd) of Cushing and Albert Grant (Sara Mitchell) of Warren; and her stepgrandchildren, Terry Melanson, Jr. of Robbinston and Corey Melanson (Hannah Thompson) of Cushing. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as her 'adopted' grandchildren.
