He is survived by: his children, Stacey Shields of Rockland, Kevin (Rebecca) of Rockport, Curtis (Patti) of Rockland and Ellen (Thom Wilch) of Albion, MI; his grandchildren, Ben (Anita Shields) of Attleboro, MA, Hannah Shields (Eze Iregbu) of Jamaica Plain, MA, Joseph Wilch of Ypsilanti, MI, Miriam Wilch of Albion, MI, Ryan Shields of Rockport and Chris Shields of Rockport; and his brother Edgar Shields of Chagrin Falls, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
