He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde G. Young and Katheline Eaton Young; and his brothers, Loren, Cleo and Floyd Young.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothea "Dot" Knight; his sister Lucille; his children, Sharon Marriner of South Thomaston and Donald Young of Warren; his brother John Young (Kay) of Rockland; his grandchildren, Courtney Young of Charleston, Nicholas Young of New York, N. Y. and Amanda Young of Boston; and his great grandchildren, Avery and Vance Faulkingham of Charleston.
