He was predeceased by: his parents, Errold H. Hammond and Virginia E. Tompkins Hammond; his wife Rita; and his siblings, Donald and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his daughter Sandra Donahue (David) of Shrewsbury, MA.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sargent of Shrewsbury, MA., Casandra Funk of Worcester, MA., Christopher Funk of Worcester, MA. and Brian Funk of Richmond, VA; his great grandchildren, Elise Sargent, Madeline Carper, Conner Funk and Rose Funk; his half-sister Norma Ratto of Boise, ID; his nieces, Julie McArthur (Brian) of Bolivia and Jennifer Lambertson (Kevin) of South Portland; his nephew Cameron T. Henry of Greenwich, CT; and his great-niece Evelyn Lambertson.
