He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Novicka and Esther Monroe Novicka; and his brother Neil Novicka (Alison). He is survived by: his children, Eric Novicka (Jennifer) of Lexington, TN and Vanessa Spear of Rockland; his grandchildren, Aikman Spear of Rockland, Amanda Novicka Tardiff (Timothy) of Lexington, TN, Peter Novicka (Destiny) of Weber City, VA, Vanessa Novicka Miller of Thomaston and Breanna Novicka of Winthrop; and his friend Sheila Polky of Owls Head. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

No reception will be held, due to the recent spike of COVID-19 cases.
