We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2023, at the age of 101, Carolyn Frances Kaler (Rockland, Maine), born in Friendship, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. Sr. Lash and Levilda Carter Lash; her husband Benjamin Kaler; her siblings, John, Austin, Douglas, Harold, Robert Jr., Paul, Winfield Lash, Mary Wotton, Eleanor Lash and Myra Maxy; and her great grandchild Dominic Andrews.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Wotton (Lance) of Friendship; her granddaughters, Carolyn Andrews (Timothy George Andrews) of Vinalhaven and Brenda Thompson (Steven Thompson, Jr.) of Friendship; her grandchildren-in-law, Caleb, Arika Thompson of Steep Falls, Trevor, Cheyanne Thompson of Waldoboro, Steven III, Abigail Thompson of Warren and Lilly Andrews of Vinalhaven; her great great grandchildren, Sophera Thompson and Nolan Thompson; her siblings, Howard (Lois Lash), Philip (Janice Lash) and Esther Lane of Friendship; and her niece Brenda Winslow. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
