She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon Fickett and Marion Huntley Fickett; her spouse Newell M. McLain; her brothers-in-law, Bertram G. Snow and Edward W. Shaw; and her sisters, Helen Snow of Rockland, Beverly Shaw of Dover, NH and Janice Cornell (Robert) of Gray. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
