He was predeceased by: his parents, LaForest Colson and Sara Perry Colson; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Colson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Colson of Rockland; his children, Albert Colson, Jr. of Rockport and Carol C. Carlson (Robert) of Owls Head; his brother Charlie Colson (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Robert Carlson, III (Jessica), Catrina Guiggey (Dave), Christine Morin (Calvin), Rohobot Carlson, Sena Carlson and Stephanie Colson Barley (Mark). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home (110 Limerock St, Rockland, ME 04841).
