Hinson of Robbinston, Maine, born in Presque Isle, Maine, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jay B. Hinson; and his father-in-law Philip Hollingdale. He is survived by: his mother Jane McLeod Hinson of Machias; his wife Beth Hinson; his stepmother Karen Hinson of South Carolina; his mother-in-law Gloria Hollingdale of Calais; his children, Eric Hinson of Orrington, ME, Jaime Hinson of Orrington, ME, Jay N. Hinson of Bucksport, ME and Ashley Hinson Dhakal (Ankit Dhakal) of Calais; his stepdaughter Kristen Fowler (Jason Fowler) of Baileyville; his grandchildren, AJ, Anna, Victoria, Lucas Fowler, Kairav, Kiaan Dhakal, Jessie, Kasie Stevenson and Emilie Ireland; his siblings, Chris Hinson of Las Vegas, NV, Wendy Leighton of Vienna, ME and David Hinson of Yarmouth, ME.; his siblings-in-law, Heather (Tim Miller), Wendy (Daniel Dorchester), P. J. (Jayne Hollingdale), Brenda (Jay White), Bonnie (John Beck) and Mike (Sandra Hollingdale); and his great grandchildren, Waylon, Mark, Sophia and Memphis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your local Elementary School book fair to provide free books for kids that would otherwise not have the chance to purchase them.
