He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell A. Warren Sr. and Ruth Warren (Wagner); his son-in-law Wayne Leavitt; and his nephew Tim Avery. He is survived by: his wife Mavis (Diffin); his sister Sandra Galaway of El Paso, TX; and his children, Rene Leavitt, Bill Warren, Darylann Warren and Gerard Warren. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
