He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Cray and Nettie Cray; and his siblings, Phyllis Chapman, Gloria Kenney, Wesley Cray Jr. and Albert Cray.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cray of Dresden; his daughter Laurie Carver (Bruce); his sister Pauline Beasley; his grandchildren, Brittni Guerrette of Richmond, Bruce Carver Jr. of Richmond and Benjamin Carver of Richmond; and his great grandchildren, Easton and Isaac. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
