He is survived by: his wife Connie Smith; his daughters, Deborah Wallace Howe (Bob) of Richmond, Elena Less Carter (Mark) of Richmond and Lori Demers (Lance); his grandchildren, Ronnie Smith (Jody), Leland S Smith, Jar of Litchfield, Michelle Smith of Litchfield, Tyler Wallace (Dawn) of Richmond, Jocelyn Kelly (Steve) of Freeport, Curtis Wallace, Rob Less (Jessie) of Richmond, Lorisa Less (Travis Crocker) of Richmond, Marlena Champagne (Joey) of Richmond, Willow Neptune of West Gardiner and Dakoda Demers of Atlantic Beach, FL; and his brother Reggie Smith of Richmond. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great –grandchildren.
