He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Thurlow and Bessie Thurlow (Knight); and his siblings, Ruth, Ruby, Martha, Russell, Esther and Bertha.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thurlow (Kemp); his children, Shelley Douglas (Darren), Ronald Thurlow Jr. (Ilse), Steven Thurlow and Theresa Foster (Scott); his brothers, Robert and Richard Thurlow; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Sarah, David, India, Sean, Christian, Joshua and Ashleigh. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
