He is survived by: his wife Marie Roast; his pet Molly; his children, John Thistle of Portland, Kelly Thistle (Alan Taylor) of Standish, Tracey Herring (Peter) of Gorham, Wendy Nelson (David) of Portland, Jason Roast (Leeann) of Gorham and Elysha Trefry of New Hampshire; his grandchildren, Jessica Thistle, Jake Thistle, Joe Herring, Brittini Richards, Heath Chase, Kyle Nelson, Morgan Roast and Riley Grant; and his brother Richard Roast.
