It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Vivian Leighton of Randolph, Maine, born in Lubec, Maine, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Davis and Beatrice Davis; her husband Richard N. Leighton of Augusta; her son-in-law Edward E. Parker, Sr.; and her siblings, James, Lee Davis, Dorothy Wilcox (Everett) and Joyce Bradley.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Parker of Pittston and David (Beverly) of Augusta; her grandchildren, Kevin Parker of Chelsea and Amanda Parker of Pittston; her great grandchildren, Arielle, Elizabeth Brooks of Pittston, Noah and Lily Parker of Chelsea; her sister Kathryn Murphy of Lubec; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Bradley of Lubec.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Randolph United Methodist Church, 16 Asbury Street, Randolph, ME 04346 Arrangements are in the care of Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
