He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vernon Johnson and Lydia Joette Morris; his siblings, Vernon, Charles, Richard Johnson, Lois Stearns and Pauline Starkweather; his son Robert William Johnson; and his son-in-law John Neddeau.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Johnson; his sister Beverly-Thornton Johnson; his children, John Vernon Johnson (Robin) and Lydia Louise Neddeau; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, Kevin, Keith Johnson, Michael Bohanon, Aaron, Billy, Heidi Neddeau and Nathan Batson. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
