With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna (Deschene) Ferland (Presque Isle, Maine), born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 26, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Deschene and Winnifred Levesque Deschene. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kris Ferland; her husband James Ferland of Sidney; her children, Michelle Warguleski (Chris) of Syracuse, NY, Miranda Lombardo Hyzy (Christopher) of Kenmore, NY, Chelsea Lombardo of Rochester, NY. and George H. Ferland (Kris) of Madawaska Lake, ME; her grandchildren, Kristopher Alfaro of Kingsville, TX, Nicolas Alfaro of Ankara, Turkey and George J. Ferland of Madawaska Lake; and her siblings, Camille Deschene (Nancy) of East Millinocket, ME, Claudette Green (Dennis) of Brownville, ME, Velma Appleby (Bill) of Millinocket, ME, Donald Deschene of Medway, ME, Bert Deschene of Lee, ME and Linda Ambrose (Rick) of Glenburn, ME.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
