He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Hand and Alma Hand (Bell); and his sister Bonnie Dean. He is survived by: his children, James Hand (Tabitha), Steven Hand (Jayme), Sandra Fournier (Jason), Deborah Beisner (Jesse) and Heidi Brown (Jason); and his siblings, Harvey Brown III, Deborah St. Thomas, Ruth Turner and Nancy Hon. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
