With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley A. Searles of Presque Isle, Maine, born in Caribou, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2024 at the age of 79. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Doak and Irene Doak (Gagnon); her children, Laura Searles Roope of Presque Isle, Mark Searles (Karen) of Concord, NH. and Daniel Searles (Jennifer) of Bethany, CT.; her grandchildren, Lisa Carmichael (Jordan), Lindsey Cummings (John) of Presque Isle, Ben Searles of Concord, NH, Jacob, Julianna and Jaxson Searles of Bethany, CT; her great grandchildren, Jensen and Lainee Carmichael of Presque Isle; her grandchildren, Baylyn, Raeley and William Cummings of Presque Isle; her sisters, Carole Belanger of Stockholm and Paula Shuckerow (Rich) of Georgia; her friend Marie Wilcox of Caribou; her husband Gordon Searles; her daughter Lisa Searles; and her son-in-law David Roope. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
