As Robert W. departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert W. may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert W. leaves behind.
He is survived by: his parents, Thomas R. York, Jr. (Tom) and Laurine York (Thompson); his siblings, Susan (Ford), John (Betsy), Mary (Greg), Jane (Mike), Joan (John) and Thomas York III (Tim); and his close friend Laura Boykin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central Aroostook High School (25 Pleasant St, Mars Hill, ME 04758). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Robbie in a special way may make gifts in his memory payable to the York Family Scholarship (In c/o John York, 5 Field Road, Mars Hill, ME 04758.).
