He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmanpirit Carney and Elaine Carney; and his brother Shawn. He is survived by: his wife Annunziata Carney of Presque Isle; his son Robert W. Carney Jr. of Meriden, CT; his stepchildren, Anthony Gambardella, Marianna Gambardella and Jessie Wnek; his siblings, Norma Carney, Ricky and Troy Carney; and his friends, Steven Cote and Andy Fitzherbert. He is also survived by grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends.
