He was predeceased by : his parents, Eldige Malenfant and Priscilla Malenfant (Belanger); and his siblings, Galen, Gary Malenfant, Joyce Johnston and Phyllis Bramblette.

He is survived by : his wife Elaine Malenfant (Guerrette) of Caribou; his siblings, Philip Malenfant (Marie) of North Pole, Bill Malenfant (Mary Jean) of Sebastian, Gregory Malenfant (Karen) of Caribou and Pat Jackson (Helston) of Caribou; his sister-in-law Nancy Malenfant; and his nephew Kirk of Augusta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
