Phyllis Jeanne Lothrop Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2020, at the age of 80, Phyllis Jeanne Lothrop of Presque Isle, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. Benton Craig and Phyllis Craig (Walton); her grandson Tyler Reed; her sons-in-law, Ted Reed and John Chester; her siblings, Daniel Craig, Phillip Craig and Mary Niles; and her close friend Shirley Choquette of Brunswick.
She is survived by: her sister Dawna Rooney; her children, Ben Lothrop of Ashland, Julie Plummer and Carrie Reed of Presque Isle; and her grandchildren, Sam Reed of New Gloucester, Courtney Reed-Rolleston of St. Albans, Caroline Reed of Old Town, Rick Chester of Sugarland, Molly Chester, Emilee Lothrop of Ashland, Kylee Lothrop of Ashland and Ashlee Peters of Presque Isle. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Ashland Advent Christian Church on Saturday, October 24 at 1 p. m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service will be for family and close friends. Masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, donations for children's books may be made in Jeanne's name to either Ashland District School (c/o Principal Joel Hall, PO Box 289, Ashland, Maine 04732) or Limestone Community School, (c/o Teacher Carrie Reed, 93 High Street, Limestone, Maine, 04750).
