He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fitzherbert and Amy Fitzherbert (Hopkinson); his brother William; his sister-in-law Dorothy Fitzherbert (Hochenhull); his parents-in-law, Charles and Hester Hitchcock (Smith); his brother-in-law Larry Hitchcock; and his nephew Richard Fitzherbert.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Fitzherbert of Presque Isle; his sons, David Fitzherbert of South Carolina, Todd Player (Tamara) of Prescott, AZ and Tyler Player (Jennifer) of Chapman; his grandchildren, Jacob, Abbey, Ryan, Gabriel, Grace Player and Kristi Fitzherbert; his stepgrandchildren, Kate Campbell, Zachary Campbell (Hannah) and Julian; his brothers-in-law, Dale Hitchcock of Caribou and Charles Hitchcock (Irma) of Caribou; and his nieces, Linda Howard (Dennis) of Belfast and Joy Lancilotta of Augusta. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
