She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Keith Higgins; and her siblings, Leo Plourde, Wilfred Plourde, Leonel Plourde, William Plourde, Rosaire Plourde, Rose Boutot, Isabel Lewis, Amanda Bourgoin and Laura Thibodeau.
She is survived by: her parents, William Plourde and Anna Plourde (Saucier); her children, Anne Francois of Biddeford, Kathy Higgins of Presque Isle and Michael Higgins of Cambridge; her sister Mildred Blanchette of Caribou; her sister-in-law Constance Parker of Presque Isle; and her granddaughters, Christa Francois and Jayla Francois. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
