She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Libby and Dorothy Libby (Blanchard); her husband Gustavus "Gus" Noel Currie Jr.; her sisters, Charlotte Colcord Reed and Marjorie Grew; and her brothers-in-law, Robin Colcord, Edward Reed and Wendell Grew.
She is survived by: her children, G. Noel Currie (Sheila Currie) and Patricia Currie-Wright (Gerald Wright); her granddaughter Elizabeth Walden (Wright); her children, JJ, DaNyala of Arlington, Texas and Emilee (Currie); her grandchildren, Carver and Freya; her daughter Alexandria Cooper (Sterling); her grandchildren, Lincoln and Emerson of Louisville, Kentucky; her child Rilee Elliott; her granddaughter Ella Paul of Augusta, Maine; her children, Libbee Currie of Presque Isle, Silvia Wright of Orrington and Maggee Currie of Presque Isle; and her granddaughter Hana Kurnwaiti. She is also survived by her husband, her children, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Since education was very important to Marilyn, those who wish may make donations in her memory to New Hope Global Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, 675.
