She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Burby (Beaulieu) and Walter Burby; her daughter Pamela Sawyer; her husband Malcolm Smith; and her son Terry Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Phoebe Baker and Gary Burby; and her children, Jane Dampf (Karl), Gayle Shaw, Leanna McCausland (Mike), Lorraine Willette, Malcolm Jr., Vance and Royal Smith (Diana). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (6 Roberts St, Presque Isle, ME 04769). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Knight of Columbus Hall (12 Chapman Rd, Presque Isle, ME 04769).
