It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Rose Brown (Presque Isle, Maine), born in Hatfield Point, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Willigar and Mary Willigar (Van Wart); her husband Eugene "Brownie" Brown; her siblings, Reba Wiggins, Clarence, Malcolm, Wesley, Clayton, Roland and Carol Willigar; her son-in-law Larry Turner; and her great grandchild Luke Sponberg.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Turner, Cheryl Shankel (Winston), Vicki Sponberg (Deryle), Joanne Lavway (David) and Eugene Brown, Jr. (Londa); her grandchildren, Wendy Rose (David), Sheila Clark (Doug), Aaron Turner (Laura), Craig Russell (Amy), Linda MacDonald (Chris), Angela Wardwell (Scott), Greg Sponberg (Nicol), Marci Wilcox (Stephen), Amie Milo, Laura Slay (Pete), Eugene B. Brown III (Julia) and Eric Brown (Janet); her great grandchildren, Alexander Rose, Michael Clark, Brian Clark, Mason Turner (Mackenzie), McCall Turner, CJ Russell, Anna MacDonald, Abigail MacDonald, Annelise Wardwell, Liliana Wardwell, Summer Sponberg, Aliyah Sponberg, Sydney Sponberg, Christopher Wilcox (Brooke), Andrew Wilcox, Morgan Amero (Chris), Felix Milo, Garrett Brown, Caleb Irving, BJ Brown and Lydia Brown; her great great grandchildren, Mason Doucette, Aubree Wilcox and Grady Amero; her siblings, Robert Willigar (Gloria), Cora Savage, Jane McNally (Donnie), Ruth Lane, Judy James, Elsie Campbell, Donis Willigar (Wanda) and Gail Campbell; her sister-in-law Nora Willigar; and her close friends, Wilma Long and Roger Hewitt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
