He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wells and Rhoda Wells (Fisher). He is survived by: his wife Eva Wells (Hallett) of Presque Isle; his children, Tammy (Dave), Monica (Kevin) of Kennebunkport, John IV (Starla) of Presque Isle and Nina (Ed) of Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Kristi, Ashley Stephenson, Kassi Schindler, Jennifer and Jeffrey of Canada; his brothers, Charles (Helen) and Kenneth (Sandra) of Presque Isle; his aunt Rebecca Sargefield of Canada; and his close friends, Beecher Ouellette, Alfred Easler, Buddy Wheeler and Jeff Willette.
