With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James H. Tweedie (Presque Isle, Maine), born in Westfield, Maine, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James H. Tweedie to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Gordon" Tweedie and Annie Tweedie (Buckley); his wife Betty of Easton; his sons, James Henry Tweedie, Jr. and Timothy Nathan Tweedie; his granddaughter Jessica Sawyer Harding; his great grandchild Jaxon Tweedie; his sister Eleanor Grow; his brothers-in-law, Gary Dyer, Sr. and Jack Buck, Jr.; and his former wife Marie Mae Caron of Saint David.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia (David McCrum) of Mars Hill, Michael (Susan) of Robinson and Joseph (Julie) of Robinson; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hedrich (Todd), Nick McCrum (Bobbi), Jon McCrum (Stevi), Sarah Ellis (Ben), James H. Tweedie III (Chelsea), Tyler Baham, India Tweedie, Joshua Tweedie (Samantha), Tim Tweedie (Erica), Betsy Allen (Craig), Michelle McLaughlin (Taylor), Jeremy Tweedie (Lizzy), Matthew Tweedie (Lindsey), Tom Tweedie (Danielle) and Andrew Tweedie (Miranda); his siblings, Robert Tweedie (Joan), MaryAnne Buck and Geraldine Dyer; his niece Yolande (Phil Morin) of Connecticut; and his sister Verna Caron of Maine. He is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
