It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Iva West (Presque Isle, Maine), born in Monticello, Maine, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Kilcollins and Florence Kilcollins (Bridges); her husband Darrell West; her stepmother Avis Kilcollins; her siblings, Odbur Kilcollins and Bonnie Kilcollins; and her parents-in-law, Harold and Nellie West Quimby.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry West (Lovena) of Mars Hill, Darren West (Carol) of Easton and Tracy West (Hilary) of East Waterboro; her grandchildren, Mindy, Jessi, Lynsey, Lauren, Korie, Kristen, Ryan and Dustin; her brother John Kilcollins (Mary Lou); and her sisters-in-law, Marcia Kilcollins of Blaine and Florence Soucie (Gary) of Mapleton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Due to the Covid-19 global pandemic and social distancing requirements, a celebration of Mom's life will be held for family members only at the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. HyungYong Choi officiating.
During Mom's long struggle with ovarian cancer and Parkinson's disease, she received outstanding quality medical care.
