With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ifeanyi Nwafor Sargent of Presque Isle, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 25. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ifeanyi Nwafor Sargent to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Patricia "Patty" Bell of Mars Hill; his uncle Brent Esancy of Presque Isle; and his cousins, Kalen and Karter Bell of Mars Hill. He is survived by: his parents, Sherry Sargent of Presque Isle, Maine and Bruce (Michelle); his siblings, Shelby Miller (Calvin) of Mars Hill, Maine and Brad (Erica) of Caribou, Maine.; his nephews, Gavin Miller, Braedon, Kaymen and Tyson Sargent; his niece Lydia Miller; his sister-in-law Tina; and his grandparents, Gary Bell (Vicki Cameron) of Mars Hill, Ronald and Marie Sargent of Bridgwater, Maine.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Caribou High School (308 Sweden St, Caribou, ME 04736). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Iffy Sargent Athletic Fund, which is being established to honor his passion for basketball, soccer, and his support for county athletic programs. All contributions in his memory will be distributed among the Easton, Presque Isle, Caribou, and Mars Hill athletic programs to support their basketball and soccer teams.
