It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Geneva Thompson (Presque Isle, Maine), born in Mapleton, Maine, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Condon and Susan Condon (McDonough); her husband Robert G. Thompson; her siblings, Glenna Crouse, Arnold, Keith and Hollis Condon; her grandson Kristopher Tarbox; and her great grandchild Natalie.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda "Bindy" Johnston of Orleans, MA, Alan "Butch" Thompson (Sharon) of Washburn, Sharon Niquette (Mark) of Eastham, MA, Shelby Merriam of Presque Isle and Randy Thompson (Heidi) of Washburn; and her grandchildren, Peter, Susie Johnston Jason, Adam Thompson, Michelle Scott, Carianne Fitzherbert, Katie Niquette, Joshua Merriam, Parker and Quintin Thompson. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
