It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Stevens of Presque Isle, Maine, born in Calais, Maine, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George, Pauline Stevens, Donald and Mary Sanipass; his brother Adam Romero; his aunt Mary Ellen Stevens; and his uncles, Augustine and Norman Stevens.
He is survived by: his parents, Garry Stevens and Donna Stevens (Sanipass); his close friend Jeremiah Smith of Presque Isle; his fiancée Sarah Nicholas; his children, Komiwon Stevens of Indian Township, Violet Stevens of Canada, Brennen of Presque Isle, Pauline Stevens of Presque Isle and Garry Stevens III of Presque Isle; his siblings, Max Romero of Portland, George D. Stevens of Indian Township, Brian L. Stevens (Cree) of Indian Township and Lisa Sanipass Denny of Eskisoni; and his grandparents, Shane Perley-Dutcher, Darrah Beaver, Katie, Elwood Augustine, Chelsey Nicholas, Sean Nicholas, Danielle Alain, Rodney Bear and Jade Alain. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
