He is survived by: his children, Gary L. Pelkey III of Presque Isle, Christopher Pelkey of Machias and Nicole Pelkey of Presque Isle; his close friend Peggy Pelkey of Presque Isle; his sister Denise; his brother-in-law Richard Bonato of Presque Isle; and his brother Thomas Pelkey of Mars Hill.
