He is survived by: his wife Debbie Nelson; his children, Garry Nelson, Jr. (Mindy), Isaac Nelson, Justin Dee and Elizabeth Elliott (Matt); his grandchildren, Brooke Sullivan (Matt Sullivan), Jaida Beaulieu, Aiva Elliott, Adelyn Elliott, Dylan Fuller and Connor Fuller; his great grandchildren, Parker and Olive Sullivan; his siblings, Amy Collins (Jim), Katina Lavertu and Otis Nelson (Ginger); his parents-in-law, Gary and Carole Churchill; and his siblings-in-law, Dawn Martin (Tony) and Doug Churchill (Heidi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Aroostook Shrine Club (390 Houlton Rd, Presque Isle, ME 04769). A reception was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Continued Fellowship.
