We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2018, at the age of 98, Edward Osgood Griffin (Presque Isle, Maine), born in Caribou, Maine passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Osgood Griffin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Stacy of Caribou, Van, Harold of Mesa, Percy of Winthrop, Marion and Melvina Jackson (Vicky) of Orono.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Griffin (Greenier); his children, Lyn Edgecomb of Mapleton, Tom (Nancy) of Presque Isle, Dana (Becky) of Prospect, David (Ronnette) of Presque Isle and Sue (Griffin); and his husband Mark Yerxa of Lisbon. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Destination Imagination, c/o MSAD #1 Middle School DI, 569 Skyway Street, Presque Isle, ME 04769, who encourage the creative thinking that Ed admired and exhibited.
