It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane A. Grass in Presque Isle, Maine, born in Blaine, Maine, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Thomas and Florence Johnson; and his brothers-in-law, Butch Shaw, Fred Wilson and Michael Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Grass (Johnson); his children, Kevin Grass (Donna) of Blaine, Beth Cook (Chris) of Hermon and Andy Grass (Brittany) of Blaine; his grandchildren, Sarah Grass of Biddeford, Zackary Grass of Blaine, Libby Cook of Hermon, Carly Grass, Mitchell Grass of Bridgewater and Jillian Grass of Blaine; his sister Charlotte Shaw; his niece Erica (Darrel McCrum); his nephew Ryan (Sadie Shaw) of Mars Hill; and his sisters-in-law, Adena Wilson of Presque Isle and Sally LaPlante (Felix) of Newberg, Oregon..
Due to COVID-19 guidelines and precautions, a private viewing for immediate family is being held at The Old Fashioned Revival Center on Monday, January 25th, 2021.
Donations in his memory may be made to a scholarship being established in memory of Duane in care of SAD 42, P.O. Box 1006, Mars Hill.
