He was predeceased by: his parents, David Cyr and Leona Cyr (Shaw); and his sister Freda Downs. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cyr (Haley) of Presque Isle; his children, Katherine (Matt Palmer), Thomas (Wendy Crotto), Wayne (Michelle Crotto), David L. III (Jennifer Cyr) and Sarah Gardiner of Columbia, SC.; his sister Millie Serrano (Skipp) of Vero Beach, FL.; his cousin Randy Cyr of Presque Isle; and his close friend Karl Dampf of Presque Isle. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Intervention Church (584 Carson Rd, Woodland, ME 04736).
