He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Lavoie and Lela Lavoie (Johnston); his grandparents, Pearl and Chester Johnston; his wife Rhonda Lavoie of Presque Isle; his stepchildren, Rene Jo Johnson (Chip), Tammy Bard (Lonnie), Paula Perry (Chris) and Robert Smart (Kim); his siblings, Lou Lavoie (Nancy) of Oklahoma, Brenda Jones (James) of Florida and Tom Lavoie (Colleen) of Connecticut; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Shaw (Jim) of Easton and Richard Wilcox of Louisiana; his close friends, Cindy Deschaine (Stephen), Ron Turner (Melinda), Lorraine Hafford (John), Paul and Peter Deschaine; his sister Mary Brough; and his sister-in-law Myra Wilcox. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
