He was predeceased by: his parents, Athil Clayton and Elsie Clayton (McDuff); his wife Anna Churchill; his daughter Vicki Elsie Clayton; and his brothers, Fred Clayton and Paul Clayton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie (Kim Silver) of Wade and Nancy (Michael Sperry) of New Gloucester; his grandchildren, Heidi Silver, Vicki (Mike Gould), Tricia Silver, Nicholas (Marcella Silver), Sean Silver, Alexander Silver, Megan Sperry and Andrew (Nichole Sperry); his great grandchildren, Elijah Canales, Anna Canales, Caleb Silver, Rowen Sperry and Clayton Sperry; and his siblings, Delores Woodman, Darlene McHatten and Robert Clayton (Brenda).
