He was predeceased by: his sister Dr. Cynthia A. Dembofsky. He is survived by: his parents, Albert Gombar and Linda Gombar (Mach); his wife Laurie-Jean Gombar (Flint); his children, Walker J., Saima J., John A. and Alice M. Gombar; and his mother-in-law Helen Flint.
