With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon L. Elwell (Portland, Maine), who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Elwell and Grace Hubbard Elwell; and his wife Barbara Pinkham Elwell. He is survived by: his children, Charlene Libby (Andrew), Robert Elwell (Kimberly), Joyce Lurvey, Charles Elwell (Pamela), Nancy Ruby and Julie Simard (David); and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Mark Libby, Brandon, Nathan, Zachary Lurvey, Christopher, Amanda, Grace Elwell, Joshua, Tyler Ruby, Sydney Berube and Olivia Dalphonse. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made in his name to "Keep the Heat On" mailed to the Town of Buxton, 185 Portland Road, Buxton, ME 04093.
